There are no changes to the confidentiality of Juvenile Court records. Phase IV includes the delinquency (JV) case type and is tentatively planned for November 2013. Phase II also included the scanning and electronic distribution of orders in all 10 Juvenile Court case types. Phases I and II were successfully implemented over the last 10 months in eight Juvenile case types. The restrictions also apply to any case involving a juvenile victim, regardless of the nature of the offense. In cases with adult victims, the restrictions are based on the crimes charged against the defendant. Rule changes were adopted that prohibit the courts from placing records online in cases where there are victims of certain alleged crimes. Parties and their attorneys with an Electronic Court Record Online account may view documents over the internet in their own cases but cannot see other records.
